Ann Curry holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University. Her performing experience ranges from Christine in the National Tour of “Phantom of the Opera” to touring with Perry Como. She has worked in regional theater, commercials, television, and film. Ann has performed as a commercial session singer, in multiple professional choirs, and even aboard a cruise ship. She is married to a professional actor and raising three children, all of whom are working in the entertainment industry. With two of her children attending a performing arts school, she has witnessed first hand how competitive and complex the process of applying to colleges can be for the performing arts student.
As CALA’s Director of Communications, Ann brings her unique perspective as both performer and parent of performers, managing all aspects of the CALA student’s college audition journey. Ann acts as the chief facilitator and point person for every incoming CALA student. She serves as liaison between students and the CALA team, while keeping families appraised of application progress and goals.
